Seajob.net, run by Sea Line Group, describes itself as India’s most trusted maritime job portal. Seafarers, shipping companies, manning agencies and maritime institutes use it to find people and opportunities across Merchant Navy, offshore, passenger vessel and shore-based roles.
A seafarer’s profile carries far more than a CV: passport and visa, seaman book, certificates of competency, courses and years of sea service. Seajob needed a platform that captures all of it once and puts it to work in every application, including from a phone between voyages.
The decision
We built the platform around one complete seafarer profile. Candidates enter their documents and sea experience once, and both the website and the Android app use that same record to search, apply and stay visible to the companies that matter. Because jobs are posted by licensed manning agencies and maritime companies, account approval is tied to experience, qualifications and Certificate of Competency.
